Here is what we did today.
Math: Today we did a our math test. I am graphing this unit so I am going to do my best to get them back quickly but most likely next week.

Language: We finished off our mother's day activity!
UOI Presentations: We are slowly getting through them.
Lunch/Recess

UOI: We talked about soil today! We learned what it does, how important it is and how and what nutrients a plant gets from the soil. We learned that soil is the first layer on the earth's surface, that soil helps to keeps plants in place and helps soil and plant to get food and water! We also learned that plants get their green colour from the nitrogen and chlorophyll in the plant! We did some reading comprehension in partners and they now understand how important it is! We talked about the ramifications if we didn't have soil-no plants or trees, oxygen, habitats for animals etc. We are going to continue to talk about soil the rest of the week. They were amazed!
