Here is what we did today.
Language: Today our chapter was about summertime! We learned about what activities they do in the summer, chores, eating and guests. In the chapter Laura and Mary get two cookies from a neighbor and they try and break it so they and Baby Carrie can have some as well. However, they do not split it evenly so the girls get 1/2 and Baby Carrie gets a whole cookie. The children wrote in their journal about what they would have done with the cookies in order to make it more fair. A lot of the students chose to split the cookie into thirds and then share with Ma and Pa! A great solution!

Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we worked on creating bar graphs! There is many steps involved including labelling the axis, keeping the scale consistent on the y axis, ensuring the bars are evenly spaced apart and the bars are drawn correctly. They did a great job!
UOI: We continued to present our brochures! We are almost done!
