Hello,
Here is what we did today.
Math: Today we did a pre-assessment for our new unit.
Language: We did our spelling test.
Speeches: We did our speech competition against the maples! We did very well and I am really proud of everyone! Katilyn in grade 3 came in first for the primary Divison! Good work!
Lunch
UOI: Today we talked about fishing communities. We read as a class, information on fishing communities. We discussed the importance of Over Fishing and what importance Canada plays in the fishing industries. We discussed the land forms found in fishing communities and made so many connections. It was a great discussion! The students had to complete a comprehension worksheet based on what we read as a class.
Lunch/Recess
French: Please see Mme. Stella's blog for more information.
Have a good weekend!
