Here is what we did today.
Language: We continued to work on our persuasive speech on whether or not we should wear uniforms or not. Those who did not finish will be completing it for homework. When they were finished they read through each others in order to find spots where they could add more parts in and get new ideas.
French: Please see Mme. Stella's blog for more information.
Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we talked about probability experiments. I put an equal number of coloured blocks in a basket and together we pulled them out to see without looking to see how many of each colour we can get. Probability says that if we pull 40 times and we have four colours, we can use division to tell us that it is LIKELY that each colour will be pulled ABOUT ten times. We put this in a tally chart. Next we practiced several probability scenarios using division.
Workshop: The rest of the day was spent at the mad scientist workshop. They had a great time take a look!
Have a good night!
