Here is what we did on Today.
Exhibition: We started off the day watching the exhibition presentations! We watched one on elder abuse, developmental disabilities and climate change. After the presentations they looked at the presentation boards and then enjoyed a small treat.
Spelling: We completed the spelling test and the marks were handed back.
Lunch/Recess
Math: We completed review on the topics we have been having trouble with.
Language: Today we continued to work on persuasive speeches. We read a persuasive speech together and highlighted the opinion, reasons, evidence and opinion. We also looked at all of the persuasive words, phrases and strategies for a persuasive speech.
Lunch/Recess
UOI: We looked at our soil and figured out the differences between right after shaking and 24 hrs later. We determined that we could see all of the layers in the soil! Take a look!
