Math: Today we played a game called circle up! It helps us to practice our skip counting for 2 and 5's. Next we made multiplication cootie catchers! We had so much fun! They are good for helping us independently practice multiplications!

Language: Today we reviewed what an adjective and a noun is. We learned that an adjective describes a noun. We also learned that a noun is a person, place or thing. Using this information, we made acrostic poems using our names and adjectives to describe us! We had a lot of fun!

UOI: Today we talked about writing as the grade 3's are starting a new unit on writing! We made a big brainstorm of different things we knew about writing. Next we used that information of a story to create a story using one word at a time. Each person said one word as we went around the room. It was a lot of fun and the story was really silly! We finished off by using our knowledge of adjectives, nouns and verbs to create some very silly mad libs!
