Language: We started off finishing up our shape poems. They were very well done and filled with description, personification and aliteration. Next we started working on our UOI summative. We were reflective as we thought about ourselves as authors and wrote an about the author for their book, a rough copy and a good copy. When they were finished they started working on their spelling.

Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we worked on growing patterns! A growing pattern gets bigger by the same amount each time. We did some examples on the carpet and then made growing patterns using shapes with our partners. Next we did some textbook work.
UOI: Today we started working on our summative story. The kids had time to start working on their plan for the story. It is a rough version and it is only meant for them to get their ideas down on paper. We will be starting a story board tomorrow.
