Here is what we did today.
Spelling test: The grades will be given back on Tuesday. I apologize for the delay.
Language: Today we reviewed all of the language topics we have been doing by doing mad libs! The kids had to put in adjectives, past tense verbs, nouns and plural nouns to make a silly story. We ended with reading the stories. They LOVED it and were laughing hysterically! They have been brought home for you all to read.
Remembrance day: Today we had a presentation by a war memorabilia collector. They had the chance to try on clothes from different time periods, pick up guns from war along with other items. They learned a lot about war and why we should remember the soldiers. They LOVED IT!
Math: Today we went over different questions and did review from the
test.
Lunch/Recess
UOI: We learned about schools during the pioneer time! We did a reading
then answered questions. They are so interested in this topic. We didn't have
enough time to finish so we will finish on Tuesday.
