Here is what we did today.
Spelling: Spelling is due Thursday and the test is on Friday.
Language: Today we worked on verbs. They told me that verbs are action words. First we played a game in which they were given a place and with their table groups they had to come up with UNIQUE verbs to describe that setting. Red table won twice and the yellow one twice. They loved playing it! Next they completed a worksheet in their language books.

Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we worked on area. They told me that area was the inside of the shape. We counted the area of a shape on the board and then we learned that are is measured in square units. Finally they completed work in their math textbook. Some of them finished their homework too!
UOI: We finished our pioneer poems! They did a great job and they look great! Marks will go home this week. If you want to take a look they are on our UOI board in the classroom!
