Here is what we did today.
Math: We started our new measurement unit! Today we used a powerpoint to describe the difference between centimeters, meters and kilometers! We learned how many millimeters go into a centimeter, how many centimeters go into a meter and finally how many meters go into a kilometer. We compared objects and discussed what unit of measurement would be appropriate to use to measure them. We learned the difference between length, width and height.

Language: We presented our wonders and research.
Lunch/Recess

UOI: We learned about magnetism! We learned how magnetic have a north and south pole. The opposite poles attract and the same poles repel. We watched a video to help us understand the theory of magnetism. We did a magnetic scavenger hunt in the classroom to find what objects attract and what objects repel.
