Here is what we did today.
Our schedule has changed slightly as we now have french at the end of the day.
Paper Handout: We started the day off learning how to use a binder and organizing our work we have done thus far.
Math: We did review for our test on Monday. We went over the pattern in which the number you increase by increases each time. There are three parts to this pattern: 1. The start number 2. the first amount you add 3. the number you increase by each time. We also did this type of question in a chart form. Here is an example.
The test is on Monday and will be exactly like the review. If they practice from the test they will be fine. They have all brought home their textbook and workbook in order to gain more practice or answer questions if needed. The textbook is an excellent source for more questions or can clear up a confusion. If you have any other problems please let me know.
Language: Today we continued to practice persuasive speeches. We brainstormed both sides of the argument for "Should we have homework?" The kids did their OREO outline together. They are really starting to get it now. Next time they should try to add even more detail.

UOI: Today we used the information we learned yesterday to analyze our an advertisement independently. This is going to be marked and they were told yesterday. The ad had so many of our techniques it was fabulous. The ad we used was:
