Here is what we did today.
Math: Today we worked on our 9 times tables! We first played circle up to practice skip counting our nines. Next we learned two tricks for our 9s! The first is using our hands.

We did some practice on some worksheets and then did mad minutes for our 2's and 5's to improve our scores from last time.

Language: Today we continued to read the Little House in the Big Woods. We read the chapter entitled "The Wonderful Machine". After finishing the chapter we talked about another reflection paragraph. They are writing about: How are our machines different than in pioneer times? We had the chance to start and will be finishing it tomorrow. Here is the structure for the paragraph.

UOI: Today we wrote pioneer acrostic poems! We did a rough draft then a good copy. Some people didn't finish their good copy so that is homework. They need 2 + pictures.
