Here is what we did today.
Math: Today we continued to talk about multiplication! We played a game to practice skip counting called Circle up! Each person said one number while counting up in twos and fives. If you are the one to say the number 50 then you are out. We did this several times and we had so much fun! Next we did some work in the textbook. Next we played Albert's insomnia! We did not beat our goal but we did fantastic! They are not adding three and four digit numbers to get our next number.
I would suggest that you practice your multiplications at home. The best way to do this is flashcards. They can be printed off this website: http://www.timvandevall.com/math/free-printable-multiplication-flash-cards-for-kids/
Spelling: I accidentally forgot the spelling books at home but I gave them the words and will give them time to finish it in class tomorrow. Sorry!!!

Language: Today we read chapter 7 called Sugar Snow. It was about a extra cold spell that allows for farmers to tap more maple syrup. Next we looked at a part of the chapter that had instructions. They are taking the sentences and putting them into instruction form with bossy verbs, transition words, in a numbered list and has one instruction per line. We will be finishing this tomorrow.

UOI: We finished our Pioneer houses! They look great! Today we worked on the house side of the house today.
