Here is what we did today
Math: Today we worked on multiplication patterns. We talked about how we can use what we know to answer larger questions involving multiples of 10, 100 and 1000.
We talked about how if we put numbers in a place value chart, we can see the movements between the 10, 100 and 1000. Here is what the movements look like in a place value chart:

Lunch/Recess
Mad minutes: We took up our mad minutes and scored them! I am definitely seeing some improvements!
Reading Comprehension: We went over the reading comprehension homework for the weekend. The book has been assigned to them on Raz-kids. Go to my assignments on the main page and then read the first three pages of the book, answer the "before reading" section of the comprehension sheet. Finish reading the book and then finish the "After reading " portion of the sheet.
UOI: Today we did a pioneer quiz to test what they have learned! We also started working on our summatives. I told them that I was looking for five separate points on each topic (Not five sentences but 5 explanations). Whatever explanations that goes into their planner, needs to be in their final product in some way. A new rubric is going to be sent around with this information changed.
