Here is what we did today.
Desk clean out/Paper hand out: We worked on being organized and did some cleaning! House points were given to those people that didnt need to clean their desk because it was already clean! Good work!
Language: We continued to work on our summatives!

Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we worked on patterns on a grid. We talked about the different ways that you can make a pattern on a grid: vertically, horizontally and diagonally. We also talked about the differences between if the grid has an even number vs an odd number of squares. I gave them a grid and they made a pattern. Finally we did some textbook work.
UOI: We are getting very good at adding description and not using the word said. As a result I wanted to refresh their memories and make a web on the board of different words that we could use instead of said. I talked about how this is adding description as it states HOW something was said. Finally we continued to work on our summatives.
