Here is what we did today.
Language: Today we reviewed nouns. They did a worksheet in which there was a box for each letter of the alphabet and they had to think of a noun for each letter. Next they used those words to create silly 2A sentences. The silliest won some house points! Munira was our winner: The beautiful, lovely queen played with the complicated, colourful Rubics Cube. Special mentions went to Divyansh for a great 2A sentence overall: The cool, white shooting star went bursting into the big, bright Earth. Finally we finished off the period with cursive writing.

Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we talked about measuring in km. First we talked about how many m were in a km. Next we talked about things we would measure in km. Finally we finished with some textbook work.
UOI: Today we made butter using heavy whipping cream and tupperware containers. We all took turns shaking and shaking and shaking! Their arms were tired! While we were shaking we read some stories and learned more about making butter and cheese.

Lunch/Recess
UOI: We finished making the butter and then we ate it on crackers!
Popcorn party! We had our popcorn party today as they reached 100 points! We will be starting over and be working towards 200 points!
