Here is what we did today.
Language: Today we reviewed what the previous two chapters. Next we started reading "The Two Bears". They loved the chapter! It was very descriptive and funny. The kids loved reading it. Next we started talking about descriptive writing and why it was an important part of this chapter. The kids the wrote about a time they were scared and used descriptive writing so the reader can picture the scene in their heads. They also included 2A sentences in their writing. Here is a picture of some of their stories!

Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we started a new unit! We started a unit on data management. Today we did venn diagrams. We sat together on the carpet and I put two hoola-hoops overlapping in the middle. Next I asked them what I have made and then they told me it was a venn diagram! Together we sorted different shapes and numbers then they did some work in the textbook. They did well!
UOI: We continued to work on our summative brochure.
