Hello,

Here is what we did today.

Math: Today we talked about rotations! We sat together on the carpet and did many examples together. We learned that a turn or a rotation can go in two different directions, clockwise or counter clockwise. We also learned that a turn can go 1/4 turn, 1/2 turn or 3/4 turn. We talked about it in terms of a clock and how it is always pointed at 12,3,6 or 9 on a clock. We practiced together and then they made a shape out of paper and then practiced rotating it in their books. Finally we did textbook questions.

Language: Today we talked about context clues as we noticed on raz kids that they were having trouble. Context clues is using the clues from the sentence to figure out the meaning of a word. We did some together and then did a package of sheets to practice.
