Hello,

Today was Joshua's birthday! Happy Birthday Joshua!

Here is what we did today.

UOI: We are working hard on our summative presentations trying to get them done. Almost there!

Arts Night: We had our dress rehearsal today! They did so well!

UOI/Gym: We were slightly delayed in our scheduling because of arts night so we had about 10 minutes to work on our summatives before going to gym. Please see Mr. Macdonald's blog for more information.

Here is what we did on Monday.

Math: We started off the day with our math test! They all worked very hard and they should be returned this week

Lunch/Recess

Math: As we are being pulled from class to practice for arts night on stage the activities took longer to complete throughout the day! They continued to work on their math test after lunch
UOI: We are continuing to work on our summatives! Everyone is working so hard I am so proud of them! Keep up the good work guys!

Hello,

Here is what we did on Friday.

We started the day off with awards from the Track and Field event at the Maples. Congratulations to all of the winners!
Math: We prepared for the upcoming math test by playing probability games with fidget spinners! The children attached a piece of paper onto one of the arms of their fidget spinner and used that to choose a colour on a regular spinner and conducted an experiment. They also played rock, paper scissors as a probability experiment.

Lunch/Recess

Language: We worked on our arts night performance! Almost there!
UOI: We continued to work on our summatives. Most people are finished the planning section of their summative and will start working on it on Monday.

Principled Award

This month our principled award went to Aamna! Great work being honest!!

Action Stars

Today we had some action stars! Great work!

Eva brought in some pictures from when she went tree planting!

Aamna brought in a book on plants and soil!

Divyansh shared all of his knowledge from his trip to Ottawa!

Language: Today we did the OWA post assessment.

Lunch/Recess

Language/Math: We we were being called to practice for arts night they needed more time to complete their assessment. When they were finished they practiced for their quiz on Monday.
UOI: We worked on our summative assessment. I am hoping they are able to finish their planning for Monday. They should start bringing in their materials for Monday we are going to start building then.

Math: We worked on a review package for the quiz on Monday. A review package will be sent home on Thursday.
UOI: We worked on the summative.

UOI: We finished the last of the story presentations! WOOO!
Novel study: We continued to read the secret garden. A comprehension page has been sent home.
